We added ChannelAdvisor’s Comparison Shopping and Paid Search solutions during the holiday season, and we were extremely impressed with ChannelAdvisor’s level of service, speed to market and handling of each brand’s multiple feeds during this hectic time.

ChannelAdvisor, a global e-commerce platform provider that enables retailers to sell more across online channels, announced today that Plow & Hearth, originally a customer of ChannelAdvisor’s Rich Media solution, is now using ChannelAdvisor’s Comparison Shopping and Paid Search solutions as well. Plow & Hearth engaged ChannelAdvisor’s Managed Services for both solutions late last year and has since enjoyed impressive online growth.

“We added ChannelAdvisor’s Comparison Shopping and Paid Search solutions during the holiday season, and we were extremely impressed with ChannelAdvisor’s level of service, speed to market despite all our brands, and handling of each brand’s multiple feeds during this hectic time,” said Plow & Hearth Senior Online Marketing Manager Jessica Baines. “Even now, after the launch and being in market, I continue to be pleasantly surprised by ChannelAdvisor’s responsiveness, proactive strategic recommendations and industry knowledge.”

Plow & Hearth’s quick and efficient ramp up with ChannelAdvisor’s Managed Comparison Shopping and Paid Search solutions produced fast and quantitative results for the six brands of the home and lifestyle company. Partnering with ChannelAdvisor increased Plow & Hearth’s comparison shopping fourth quarter revenue 87 percent over Q4 2009. Specifically, the Plow & Hearth brand realized the most significant comparison shopping revenue increase with growth of 126 percent, a clear example of the benefits of ChannelAdvisor’s solutions and managed services.

“Plow & Hearth has extensive brand recognition, positioning the company to succeed on both paid search and comparison shopping engines,” said ChannelAdvisor President and Chief Operating Officer David Spitz. “Diversifying on multiple channels is a smart decision for Plow & Hearth to maximize its growth opportunities, and we feel privileged that they chose to expand their e-commerce efforts with ChannelAdvisor.”

Currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, Plow & Hearth has grown to include a family of brands including HearthSong, MagicCabin, Wind & Weather, ProblemSolvers, and WinterthurStore. The company has always been well known for its catalogs, which initially led the company to implement ChannelAdvisor’s Rich Media solution to create an interactive online catalog. The success of the catalog encouraged Plow & Hearth to consider ChannelAdvisor when searching for paid search and comparison shopping solutions.

Today, ChannelAdvisor’s Managed Comparison Shopping and Managed Paid Search solutions help Plow & Hearth produce website traffic and conversions, keep data feeds up-to-date, manage bids and measure performance across all engines. The managed level of service is ideal for such a large company with many moving parts; ChannelAdvisor’s services team now oversees all aspects of Plow & Hearth’s multiple campaigns.
