The eco-impact that Coloradoans create through Arc Thrift Stores is staggering. Through the Arc Thrift Stores 55 million pounds, or 60,899,653 pieces of unwanted clothing and household items were donated and diverted from the landfill over the past twelve months. According to Scott Blomquist, Director of Recycling Operations, “This equates to approximately 8,250,000 cubic feet of landfill space. For every 75 items donated to Arc, almost 6 pounds of Carbon Monoxide (CO2) is eliminated from the air we all breathe.”

Donate to Arc Thrift stores today. You’ll help reduce landfill emissions and know your carbon footprint just got a little greener.
