Fire + Spice Restaurant, in the Sheraton Phoenix Airport Hotel Tempe, has been named the winner of the Casadores Margarita Mix-Off for bartender Mark Green’s Habanero Mango Margarita. The competition, held on April 2, 2011, was part of My Nana’s Salsa Challenge and event held by the Arizona Hemophilia Association.
Green’s margarita is a fiery but sweet combination featuring Casadores tequila. The concoction won the restaurant $500 and a winner’s plaque to display at Fire + Spice Restaurant. The margarita will be featured for a limited time at Fire + Spice Restaurant where it can be mixed by Green himself.
