Connolly, the largest privately held recovery audit firm in the world, will be at the upcoming International Accounts Payable Professionals (IAPP) conference to introduce the keynote speaker, make a presentation and facilitate a learning lab.

Connolly will play an integral role in the upcoming International Accounts Payable Professionals (IAPP) Forum taking place May 8-12 in Orlando, Florida. Expected to draw more than 2,000 financial operations professionals from the US, the UK and Canada, “Fusion” is the largest conference of its kind in the world. Connolly executives will introduce the keynote speaker, present a workshop, and make several presentations including a day long seminar.

“I am very excited to be able to introduce the IAPP Fusion keynote speaker; a woman I greatly admire for her courage and integrity,” said CEO Larry Connolly, referring to Cynthia Cooper. Formerly of WorldCom, Ms. Cooper achieved worldwide fame in 2002 for exposing her company’s fraudulent activities in what is still one of the largest corporate fraud cases in history. She was named a Time Magazine “Person of the Year” for her courageous actions and wrote a best-selling book on the topic. Since then, she has dedicated herself to promoting ethical practices in business. “Ethical practices are critical in our business; it’s all about trust between our clients and us,” Mr. Connolly said.

Connolly’s Commercial Division President, David Davies, will make a presentation at the IAPP Fusion Masters Sessions, a series of roundtable discussions designed exclusively for senior financial operations leaders. He will address opportunities for managing the cash cycle in the “payments to sourcing” continuum. “IAPP is an ideal forum for Connolly to reach out to clients and potential clients,” he said. “This session will provide me with the opportunity to talk about sourcing goods and services more efficiently, and will inspire lively conversations around the tables.”

Last but not least, Butch Jones, Vice President, Retail Client Services will moderate an all-day accounts payable operations discussion entitled, “Accounts Payable in the Retail Environment.” This seminar will engage leading retailers from across the country in the discussion of key industry trends and best practices. Connolly is well positioned to host this session because it provides recovery audit services to 19 of the top 20 US retailers.

Connolly is a Diamond Sponsor for the 2011 IAPP event. More information on Connolly can be obtained by going to More information on Fusion can be obtained by going to
