Keystrokes, an established national leader in the transcription industry, announced today that it has acquired Hudson Medical Systems and its complete technology suite of fully integrated products called ChartNet™. Through the acquisition, the company has been renamed ChartNet Technologies, Inc.

ChartNet Technologies will continue to offer both premise-based and ASP solutions to hospitals and Medical Transcription Service Organizations (MTSOs). The ChartNet suite includes ChartNet Transcription, ChartNet Voice and ChartVox Dictation.

The suite's digital dictation system, ChartVox Dictation, allows dictation to be done from any telephone. In addition, ChartNet has partnered with M*Modal™, offering a speech recognition module to all customers.

"This acquisition enables Keystrokes to offer advanced technology to our customers with developers available to customize work flow, reporting and integration,” remarked Lee Tkachuk, CEO of Keystrokes. "At the same time, ChartNet Technologies offers the scalability and flexibility of the ChartNet technology suite, providing a comprehensive and robust solution for healthcare facilities and MTSOs of all sizes."
