“The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is thrilled to have Planet Fitness on board again,” said Myra Biblowit, BCRF president.
Newington, NH. (PRWEB) April 29, 2011
For every new member who signs up at Planet Fitness from Sunday, May 1, through Tuesday, May 10, a $10 donation will be made to the Foundation. Planet Fitness raised $213,000 for the foundation during last year’s Mother’s Day sale, and is hoping to double that amount this year.
More than 200 Planet Fitness gyms will participate in the 10-day promotion. Memberships will cost just $10 down, and then $10 a month.
“The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is thrilled to have Planet Fitness on board again,” said Myra Biblowit, BCRF president. “Partnering with Planet Fitness to promote the importance of exercise was a natural synergy and underscores BCRF’s mission of prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. We are extremely grateful for their continued support.”
