We consider this certification an important validation of our business model and our approach to serving Fortune 1000 companies - Chicca D'Agostino
Hackensack, NJ (PRWEB) April 28, 2011
Focus USA, a premier data provider of online and offline marketing solutions, today announced that it has received national certification from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Focus’ WBENC certification was issued by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WPEO) of NY.
The WBENC certification for women-owned businesses is one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation. WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business as well as an on-site inspection conducted by the regional committee. The certification process is designed to confirm that the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by one or more women.
“We are proud to become a certified Women’s Business Enterprise,” commented Chicca D’Agostino, Founder and President of Focus USA. “We consider this certification an important validation of our business model and our approach to serving Fortune 1000 companies. We look forward to the new opportunities that our WBENC certification will bring while also enhancing our goal of bringing added value as a WBE vendor.”
By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
