On December 1-4, 2011, ISOPT will convene once again. The symposium examines novelties and current modes of ophthalmic therapeutic interventions, and has become a tradition in the education and update activities in ophthalmic therapeutic modalities.
ISOPT Clinical is the place for updates and discussions on the most relevant current therapies and treatment protocols of drugs soon to be available in your practice.
Discussions with leading ophthalmologists, drug developers, scientists and regulatory officers were ISOPT's hallmark over the last 16 years in Europe and Asia.
“Over the years, ISOPT has assembled an esteemed faculty of over 150 lecturers representing the major fields in ophthalmology,” say the symposium chairpersons, Sara Krupsky, MD, and Ron Neumann, MD. “This will be an opportunity to evaluate practices and refine understandings of ophthalmic drug utilization,” they add.
Some 120 lecturers specializing in the leading fields in ophthalmology will speak on topics relating to Glaucoma, Retina, External Eye Diseases, Inflammation and Infection, Devices, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Basic Science and Drug Development.
In addition, ISOPT Clinical will serve as a discussion podium for ongoing debates on endpoints and their utilization in clinical trials and drug development. The pharmaceutical industry will also take part in these discussions to contribute its vast knowledge in ophthalmic drugs, and will unveil stories behind the development of selected products. A commercial and professional exhibition will take place parallel to the symposium hours, while all coffee breaks will be held in the exhibition area.
The conference venue, Hilton Vienna, set in the heart of the city, is just 15 minutes by direct train from the airport, and is located opposite the famous city park. This central location will allow you to enjoy Vienna in early December with its beautiful and festive preparations toward Christmas.
The Symposium Secretariat is Paragon Conventions.
