The Royal Wedding app “Prince William – The British Monarchy’s Great Hope” will be available for free from the App Store, Swiss media company Ringier announced today. Starting on Friday, April 29, 2011, 00.01 am CET (6.01pm ET), fans and followers of the Royal Wedding will be able to get the full content of the launch issue of the collection, Ringier’s new global monthly appazine, for 48 hours.

With the Royal Wedding just hours away, Ringier AG has announced a limited free download of the launch issue of “the collection”, its single-topic, multi-lingual monthly magazine app exclusively for the tablet computer. Starting Friday, April 29th at 00.01 am CET (6.01pm ET), and ending Saturday at midnight, the faithful Royal Wedding followers and fans will have a unique opportunity to commemorate the Wedding of the Century on their iPads.

The update will add Royal Wedding video footage and photographs to the already rich multimedia content of the "Prince William" appazine. Refreshers also include enhanced feature stories, the updated Royal family tree, historic milestones of the Windsors, and new interactive betting options. The update will further enrich the already existing elements and special effects such as panoramic photography, 3D digital animation, rubbing and morphing.
