The blog's goal is to give readers an inside look at Frontier and share the insights and information on natural living that the co-op has developed through its 35 years as a natural products manufacturer and a leader in sustainability. For example, in a recent guest post, Cole Daily, Frontier's Vice President of Global Sourcing, chats about how regime changes in the Middle East might impact the flow of organic ingredients sourced from that region and how Frontier's Well Earth sustainable sourcing program is affected.
The Cayenne Room also features an extensive interview with James Beard award nominee Terry Walters, chef and author of "Clean Food" and "Clean Start" that includes recipes and a cookbook giveaway. The blog will feature more interviews with other cookbook authors and organic and vegetarian chefs. Other blog topics include a look at new products Frontier will be launching during the summer months, and a fun glimpse into Frontier's on-site childcare facility.
