401(k) Rekon Launches Rekon Road Shows, a Wealth Management Symposium for Financial Advisors and RIAs

Free events focus on prospecting and practice management (not 401k focused). Initial sponsors include John Hancock Funds, Wells Fargo, Russell Funds, Goldman Sachs, Franklin Templeton, AllianceBernstein, and others.

Financial advisors cannot attend every national conference. Rekon Intelligence is bringing the conference to them.

Less than one year ago, 401(k) Rekon test-marketed a free, half-day symposium for qualified plan advisors. Response from advisors and providers was overwhelming. After hosting 25 events in 2010, 401(k) Rekon scheduled 85 more in 2011. Now 401(k) Rekon is launching a new wealth management format for financial advisors. Currently 110 events are scheduled for 2011, and more than 200 are expected in 2012.

Ross Marino, CFP, ChFC, and CEO of Rekon Intelligence, states, "Our success is driven by an advisor's desire for local, fast, and relevant educational content. The opportunity to bring national conference quality events to local venues extends well beyond the 401(k) market." Rekon Road Shows provide a unique opportunity for independent financial advisors to learn about what's new and what's working now. Value-add sessions from mutual fund, ETF, and variable annuity companies will focus on marketing strategies, building a client service team, streamlining a financial planning practice, and current portfolio management techniques.

Historically, advisors have traveled to national conferences to experience the best speakers and presentations. 401(k) Rekon, and now Rekon Intelligence have proven that advisors prefer free, local events, where local wholesalers present to a local group of 40-50 financial advisors, financial planners, and Registered Investment Advisors.

Financial advisors cannot attend every national conference. Rekon Intelligence is bringing the conference to them. Visit http://www.RekonIntel.com and select Calendar to view our 110 events. First event is in Charlotte, NC, July, 2011.
