The Lower Merion High School Athletic Department gains school storage and school spirit with Datum Filing Systems (http://www.datumfiling.com). Their unique storage solution, consisting of functional shelving on movable carriages, was designed specifically to give the High School the storage they needed in the space they allotted.

Lower Merion High School now has an equipment room fit for champions. During the construction of their new school, the Lower Merion Athletic Department partnered with Datum to install the MobileTrak3® System in the small equipment room adjacent to the school's gymnasium. The high school now has a stream-lined and organized space to keep their extracurricular sports equipment and uniforms.

The 4Post™ Shelving in Datum's system allows for the storage of items of all shapes and sizes, from hanging and folded uniforms to helmets, balls, and other sports equipment. In addition, the movable carriages allow for extra storage space that wasn't possible with traditional shelving. But the aspect of the design with the largest impact is the end panel graphics that feature the school emblem and their mascot, Ace the Bulldog. The new system has enhanced both team storage and team spirit.

"The MobileTrak3® System that Datum provided for us was not only the perfect storage solution for our team equipment, it also embodied our school spirit with the custom colors and end panel graphics," said Don Walsh, Lower Merion High School Athletic Director.

Before installing Datum's system, Lower Merion High School stored their athletic equipment in wood racks and bins. Not only was this creating an organizational challenge, it was also taking a toll on the sports equipment.

The new system improves accessibility and provides a cleaner, more organized environment that increases the longevity of the sports equipment and uniforms. Each aisle is designed to store a specific sport to further assist in organization. And unlike similar storage solutions, Datum's system uses a non grout track which allows for easy expansion or relocation of the shelving without having to break up flooring or pour concrete to install rails.

Lower Merion High School now has a functional and durable storage system with the ability to grow and change as their sports teams do. To learn more about the MobileTrak3® System or Datum, please visit: http://www.datumfiling.com.
