Super Boise Studios is proud to announce the release of the Primary 2012 Edition update to Political Fury for the IPhone and IPad. Political Fury has always been about bringing people of various political beliefs together to let them show off what they know about politics and with this major update they can now share that knowledge in amazing new ways! The Primary 2012 Edition has added a custom-built forum, an in-game social network, a Primary 2012 Center, a newsfeed that's updated with fresh content daily, more community polls, and hundreds of new trivia questions. Most importantly The Knowledge Battle has been expanded to include the 2012 Presidential candidates so now players can help establish both their party AND their candidate as the smartest in the land! Will Obama and the Democrats show they're ready for a fight in 2012? Will Romney's supporters show the GOP has a chance this election? Will Palin's supporters get a chance to show they're actually smarter than everyone thinks?
So how exactly does The Knowledge Battle work? The Political Fury servers match the player with someone from the other political party. A series of American trivia questions are then presented. The first player to answer a question correctly wins the round and the first player to win 3 rounds wins the game! Winning the game will add one point to their party's and candidate's global scores which are updated in real-time. In the first round of The Knowledge Battle over 150,000 online games were played and the Republicans barely eked out a victory winning 50.1% of games played.
A new feature introduced in this update is the Primary 2012 Center. The Primary 2012 Center includes a profile for every candidate running for President in 2012 with information on their qualifications and political platform. The player can then use this information to make an informed decision of which candidate to support. The Primary Center can also be used to see how many other players are supporting each candidate and what percentage of Knowledge Battle games their supporters have won.
The Forum was built from the ground-up so it would perfectly integrate with the rest of Political Fury. The player can create their own topics, reply to other players' posts, and easily sort all the topics available to find the most active and trending topics. If a player is making a lot of great arguments then by tapping that player's badge other players can view his profile and 'subscribe' to him to get notified when he posts in the Forum again. In less than 5 days there have been over 3,000 posts in the Forum!
The Primary 2012 update has also added a newsfeed that's updated daily with fresh articles from around the web, a Political Label quiz that gauges the player's position on various issues and determines what their political label should be, and more questions and categories to The Knowledge Battle.
