Inmarkets, the e-learning company, is set to help companies who have yet to fully prepare for the Bribery Act with a web-based course that will offer clarity around the Act and the recent Guidance Notes for ‘adequate’ anti-bribery procedures.

Director Catriona Razic commented: “Many firms had put their bribery prevention measures on hold during the delays by the Ministry of Justice. Now businesses have to move quickly to get their procedures in place for July 1 when the Act comes into force. This course is available to anyone who wants to know more about the impact of the Bribery Act and the final set of guidance. We aim to help firms clarify their position and hopefully help them become as compliant as practicable in the next eight weeks.”

The course can be accessed via the Inmarkets website (http://www.inmarkets.com). It explains what’s new in the Guidance and how it all connects with the Bribery Act and with the guidance issued by the Director of Public Prosecutions or the Director of the Serious Fraud Office. This course will be useful for those who have been following the Act, the Guidance and the whole build-up in the news media, as well as those who are completely new to this topic. There is also a path in the course for small business owners who face little or no bribery risks.

Vivek Dodd, Director of Inmarkets, said: “This course is just one of many web-based tools and e-learning we are providing to our clients to help ensure that they fulfil ‘adequate’ procedures based on the Principle 5: Communication stated in the Guidance.”
