PLS today rolled out its new website, making it easier for consumers to access information about the company’s many financial products and services. (PRWEB) May 1, 2011 -- PLS today rolled out its new website, making it easier for consumers to access information about the company’s many financial products and services.

The home page of the new website features a brief video in which PLS team members extend a welcome to site visitors, offering the same experience that customers find at PLS locations: “a warm greeting from friendly people who treat you with respect.”

Easy-to-navigate organization of the PLS portfolio

The PLS group of companies operates more than 300 financial services centers in nine states. Tabs on the new website present the products and services of the three consumer brands: PLS Check Cashers, which offers check cashing, prepaid debit cards, money transfer services, money orders and bill payments; PLS Loan Store, which provides consumer micro-loans and tax-preparation services; and PLS Motor Vehicle Services, which offers vehicle license and registration services.

“Our new site is easy to use, easy to navigate and very helpful for new visitors and regular customers alike,” said Dan Wolfberg, President, PLS. “It explains in simple language what customers can expect when cashing a check or taking out a loan, and offers a wide array of convenient services.”

An advanced content management system

The new website was designed and developed by Chicago-area web interactive design firm KeyLimeTie. Brian Pautsch, co-founder and COO of KeyLimeTie, supervised the site development and implementation.

“At the foundation of the PLS website is KeyLimeTie's Web Management Studio," said Pautsch, "which brings together content management, e-commerce and social media capabilities under a common integrated solution. We further extended the platform to include several self-service and ease-of use features designed for the PLS customer – such as submitting a loan application and locating PLS stores.”

The new website provides PLS customers with the option to create an online profile which can be used to expedite applications for loans, prepaid debit cards, direct deposit accounts and other PLS products and services.

The built-in personalization engine detects the visitor’s current location and then presents only pages featuring products and services available in their state.

“Our new site will make it easier than ever for people to access the financial products and services they need,” concluded Wolfberg. “It’s our online expression of the PLS mission—that we believe our customers deserve better.”
