The Relay for Life Event is one very close to our hearts here at the firm. All of us here, in one way or another, have been touched by cancer. We plan to participate in the Relay as a family first and a law firm second.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 02, 2011
The Georgia accident law firm of Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C. is pleased to announce their participation in two American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life events this year – Relay for Life Gwinnet County and Relay for Life Chatham County.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is an event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. And, because cancer never takes a break, relays are overnight and up to 24 hours long.
"The Relay for Life Event is one very close to our hearts here at the firm,” Nugent stated. “All of us here, in one way or another, have been touched by cancer. We plan to participate in the Relay as a family first and a law firm second.”
Events during the Relay for Life include:
- Celebrate – The survivors’ lap
- Remember – The Luminaria ceremony
- Fight Back – The “fight back” ceremony
At Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C., the entire company works together to raise money to help find a cure for cancer via the Relay for Life event. Emotions run high for team members as they come together to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. Following are details on the time and location of both Relay for Life events:
- Relay For Life of Gwinnett County will be held on May 6, 2011 from 7 PM – 7AM at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA.
- Relay For Life of Chatham County will be held May 13, 2011 from 7 PM – 7AM at Armstrong Atlantic State University, 11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA.
If you can’t make it out to see everyone in person, Mr. Nugent respectfully urges you to donate to this good cause:
