Batavia, IL (PRWEB) May 10, 2011

Parksite is pleased to announce that it is now distributing CAMO Hidden Deck Fasteners. The CAMO Hidden Deck Fastening System is the first hidden fastening system to easily and affordably attach deck boards to the substructure. The system includes CAMO hidden fasteners, CAMO Marksman™ and Marksman Pro™ tools, CAMO driver bits and a CAMO Clearing Tool.

CAMO works on treated lumber, cedar, composites, PVC, and even Hardwood deck boards with no pre-drilling required. Their video series shows just how easy the system works. Unlike many other systems that are exclusive to specific boards, CAMO is the only system that works with virtually all deck boards to create a beautiful, fastener-free deck surface.

“The popularity of outdoor living projects (especially decking) continues to grow as homeowners are impacted by the economy and choosing to simply improve their homes,” said Scott Thomas, Parksite marketing director. “Parksite is always looking for innovative, cost-effective, and easy-to-use decking materials and hardware. The CAMO Hidden Deck Fastening System makes it easy for builders and do-it-yourselfers to build or resurface their decks using one type of fastening system regardless of decking choice.”

Installation of CAMO takes only 15-20 seconds per joist. CAMO’s side-angle entry secures deck boards directly to the joist, reducing board movement and allowing for easy removal if needed. The CAMO Marksman and Marksman Pro tools position CAMO deck screws to penetrate the deck board. Both tools easily adjust to fit 5 ¼" - 5 ¾" deck boards, and provide automatic 3/16" spacing between boards.

Parksite will be distributing CAMO fasteners from select distribution centers including branches in CT, MD, NJ, FL, & IL. The CAMO hidden deck fastening system was named one of the Top Ten Picks from the 2011 International Builders’ Show, by Alan Lyle, co-host of Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford and Homefront with Danny Lipford. It was also included in This Old House’s “Favorite New Building and Deck Products” from the Builders’ Show.

The CAMO brand is a part of the National Nail Corporation.
