Building on Ergotron’s global environmental initiatives, Ergotron, Inc. announced today that its Amersfoort, Netherlands European facility has successfully achieved ISO-14001 certification.

The ISO 14001 Standard is the internationally accepted standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). It was created by the International Organization for Standardization to help organizations document, standardize, and improve the manner in which their operations interact with the environment while complying with related environmental laws, regulations and requirements.
Ergotron’s EMS team works to ensure Ergotron’s activities, products and services have minimal impact on the environment. To reduce our environmental risks, Ergotron has built systems that: improve or energy efficiency, focus on resource conservation and control our waste/chemical management processes.

The combination of the two systems helps Ergotron reduce, reuse and recycle its environmental impacts while improving operational performance.
