Contractors will not only obtain measurements from Go iPave, but now they can easily visualize specific surfaces in bid proposals, accurately calculate job costs and materials, and have an organized site diagram to keep on file.

Go iPave recently released measurement grouping tools for pavement maintenance contractors. These tools allow contractors across the United States and Canada to group any measurements created within the Go iPave software by type of surface. Measurement groups include asphalt, concrete, edging, sidewalks, turf, mulch and more. Whether a contractor is estimating for a bid package, answering a telephone lead, measuring for subcontracting work or prospecting for new jobs, Go iPave offers the ability to make the bidding process even more efficient.
“Our users constantly give us feedback on how to improve our software and we listened,” said Grant Gibson, President of Go iPave. “The Go iPave measurement grouping tools, will streamline the bidding process for contractors even more than it did before. Contractors will not only obtain measurements from Go iPave, but now they can easily visualize specific surfaces in bid proposals, accurately calculate job costs and materials, and have an organized site diagram to keep on file. No other online software provides this.”
When Go iPave users finish their measurement grouping and save to excel, each measurement category is listed on an individual Excel spreadsheet tab for easy manipulation and sorting. Additionally, users can save measurement groups to a workspace file for future viewing and modification.
Benefits of using Go iPave Measurement Grouping Tools includes:
- Group measurements by asphalt, concrete, sidewalks, turf and mulch
- Increase efficiency when measuring by identifying all surface types involved in bid proposal
- Easily assign job costs and materials required for each surface type/measurement group
- Simplify proposals by saving measurement groups to individual spreadsheet tabs
- Provide customers with detailed bids outlining exact surface type measurements like concrete and asphalt
“Contractors now have the ability to provide even more precise information to a prospect or existing customer based on the new measurement grouping tools,” says Mike Rorie, CEO of Go iPave. “As a former contractor, I wanted my staff to be armed with as much property detail as possible. It makes the job that much easier when you know everything about a property like how much total asphalt are we working with and how long are all of the sidewalks and how much edging are we going to prep for this job.“
