QuikEyes, Version 11.0 has received the federal government’s “meaningful use” stamp of approval by earning Complete EHR Ambulatory. The designation officially deems the electronic health record (EHR) software capable of enabling providers to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program, the EHR software is 2011/2012 compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
QuikEyes Online is a Practice Management System and Ocular Medical Record created by Dr. Matt Lowenstein O.D., the Meaningful Use version represents the eleventh product release of QuikEyes since 2004. Dr. Lowenstein states, "we are now able to offer Eligible Providers a full Ambulatory EHR to qualify for Stage 1 funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Certification concludes months of functional enhancements that include patient scheduling, clinical decision support, Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI), Health Information Exchange integration as well as numerous enhancements that drive quality and efficiency in an eyecare clinic."
Dr. Lowenstein states, "We continue to expand the functionality of the Practice Management platform. Incorporating client feedback and the full ambulatory EHR Stage 1 requirements, this milestone enables users of the platform to quickly implement, adopt and automatically capture measures necessary to obtain the ARRA funding. On average, a practice can be configured with staff orientation in one day. We believe this fact minimizes productivity loss and differentiates QuikEyes from the rest.”
QuikEyes Online, a Rich Internet Application (RIA), has been developed, managed and supported by Tricension using leading edge Cloud technology including Microsoft Silverlight and the .Net application framework.
Mike Lammers, Tricension's CEO and Chief Business Architect says, "Dr. Lowenstein's is a thought leader in efficient clinical and office operations.
