Detroit, Michigan (PRWEB) May 02, 2011
YOBI.tv, the Internet’s premiere site for interactive talent competitions, has named the two grand prize winners of its YOBIAct acting competition hosted by reality star Audrina Patridge. These two aspiring actors will join winners of the site’s singing, comedy, filmmaking and photography contests in receiving paid contracts to work in one of two web series starring Patridge or Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino (“Jersey Shore”).
The “Dream Maker” series will be a signatory production of the Screen Actors Guild, which will give each winner starring in that series the additional benefit of becoming guild-eligible once filming is complete.
“Dream Maker” will star Patridge as a talent agent establishing a new firm in the unlikely location of Detroit. “Random Talent” will star Sorrentino as the incorrigible judge in a spoof of an American Idol-style talent competition series.
Production on “Dream Maker” will begin on June 1, 2011. Winners of Sorrentino’s contest will be announced on May 31, 2011, and filming on “Random Talent” will begin on July 10, 2011.
