There are two videos contests on For the first, contestants have to make a minute-long video that answers the question “Why I want to travel to the Galapagos Islands”. The company has ten prizes to give away in all, including the winning prize of a cruise for four people aboard the M/V Santa Cruz ( They’re looking for humour, for creativity and for fun.

For the second video contest, guests who have travelled aboard one of Metropolitan Touring’s three vessels – M/V Santa Cruz, Yacht Isabela II and Yacht La Pinta – have to make a one-minute video about “Galapagos is extraordinary because…”. Again, it’s about having fun with the camera, and about sharing the experience of Galapagos with fellow travellers: the winners of the best videos will be able to gift their cruise to a friend or family member. Videos for both contests have to be in English in order to be judged by the jury.

To stand a chance of winning a Galapagos cruise for one, simply ‘fan’ the company on Every week in June, Metropolitan Touring will randomly choose one of its fans to win a cruise aboard the M/V Santa Cruz.

By following @MetroTouring and tweeting a version of “Galapagos is extraordinary because…” with #galapagosc, the company’s followers could be on their way to the ‘enchanted isles’.
