The Most Visited Website has officially launched today; no it's not Google, and it's not Facebook, it literally actually is "http://www.themostvisited-website.com". The site plans to become the most visited website by offering a chance to win the ad revenue generated with in the next 90 days.
The owner of the website, Maciej Golebiewski, a 20-year-old political science student at Oakland University, says, "I believe that if I can just capture the attention and imagination of the masses, then it can be done."
The site plans to become the most visited website on the web in 90 days time. The concept behind the site is simple. No one just wants to come to some plain old site, however if there is money involved and all you have to do is visit -- then why not.
For advertisers the site can prove to be a gold mine, with such little investment you can potentially have thousands of visitors flooding your sites once the most visited site gains momentum.
In order to gain momentum however, word needs to gets out. If people see the visitor count go up, then they will visit and advertise. Sequentially, when people see ads - they know ad revenue is being generated and the hopes for winning that revenue will drive them to visit.
The drawing will take place 90 days from now, one random IP address will be chosen and announced on the home page. It is that visitor's duty to come and claim the prize. If no one claims that IP, then a new one will be drawn.
