About the Author
Wynotta Fowler was raised in the Appalachian foothills of Northern Alabama. She grew up in a poor family without indoor plumbing that in most of her childhood, they drew water from a well and gathered firewood for heat. She jokingly but truthfully stated she didn't realize she was poor until starting school.
Her fondest memories are of playing in the woods and exploring the beauty of nature. She has written stories and poems as long as she can remember; often using poetry as a form of escape or self-expression. When asked where she gets ideas, she simply stated, "It's just little pieces of me."
