The National Council on Strength & Fitness (NCSF) is pleased to announce the accredited Personal Trainer Program will be offered in India. The NCSF, in partnership with Classic Fitness Group, is now providing its comprehensive Personal Trainer curriculum to current and aspiring fitness professionals with the goal of establishing the knowledge and skill set necessary to best service the rapidly growing fitness industry in India.
The program is built upon the high academic and assessment standards of the NCSF Personal Trainer Certification Program. Students engage core competencies in both classroom and hands-on education, emphasizing the skill and practice domains of the certification exam. Modeled after the organizations university program in the United States, the curriculum addresses the same knowledge, skills, and competencies consistent with the benchmark standards established in the United States.
“The NCSF Board for Certification is excited to offer this new and important program in the country of India,” states Paul Garbarino, Director of Operations for The National Council on Strength and Fitness. The program was created to address qualification and competency standards of their Personal Trainer workforce. Garbarino continues to say, “Working with Dr. Chirag Sethi and his team at Classic Fitness Group allows us to incorporate the highest educational and credentialing standards possible. This in turn will allow the personal trainers to best address the health and fitness need of the citizens of India”.
