London, UK (PRWEB UK) 3 May 2011
ChannelAdvisor, a global e-commerce platform provider that enables retailers to sell more across online channels, announced today that it has been named a finalist in the BT Retail Week Technology Awards 2011 together with its customer B&Q, the UK’s largest home improvement retailer. ChannelAdvisor and B&Q have been shortlisted in the Internet Technology of the Year category for B&Q’s use of ChannelAdvisor’s Comparison Shopping solution. The prestigious Retail Week Technology awards are held annually to acknowledge the achievements of technology in the running of retail businesses.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted with B&Q for the Retail Week Internet Technology of the Year award,” commented James Scott, EMEA managing director of ChannelAdvisor. “ChannelAdvisor’s Comparison Shopping solution has delivered clear added value to B&Q and we are honoured that it is getting this recognition from our peers and the industry’s leaders.”
ChannelAdvisor’s Comparison Shopping platform is provided as software-as-a-service and accessed entirely through the cloud by B&Q. It enables B&Q to manage activities across a multitude of comparison shopping engines from one single integrated platform. B&Q sends one product inventory feed to ChannelAdvisor’s platform, which optimises product listings to the unique characteristics of each individual engine.
Supported by the sophisticated and comprehensive reporting and dashboard functionalities in ChannelAdvisor Comparison Shopping, B&Q can test, measure and adapt campaigns to ensure optimal strategies are deployed at all times.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony at London's Hilton Hotel on June 14, which will play host to the biggest names in the industry. For more information about the awards and the finalists click here.
