The lyrically heavy mixtape, "Reality is an Abstract," is an instant classic and an intuitively resonant work, worth a listen for any fan of music. In just two days at Paramount's Studio B in Los Angeles, CA. Ecg, with producer Jay Bezus at the helm, created a unique and thought provoking piece of art. The freshman rapper's innovative interpretation of hip-hop and the veteran engineering experience of Josh Berg (Lupe Fiasco, Bone Thugs in Harmony, The Game) were brought together by the mysterious visionary to create what is promised to be the first of many thought provoking and intricate sequences of organized sound from this Michigan native. The project is available for purchase on sites such as itunes and Amazon mp3. It can also be heard for free on sites anywhere from youtube to facebook where a free download link is available.

The mixtape is scheduled to be submitted to over 200 radio stations around the United States and is hoped to be used as a stepping stone to a larger release of a second project by the end of 2011. Ecg is also extending an open invite to anyone in the Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids area to be in the first official music video anyone interested in receiving further details should email ecgrap(at)gmail(dot)com the video is scheduled to be shot near the end of May and will be released shortly after.
