Houston is already on the map as a destination for medical treatment, with people traveling from South America and elsewhere to our city. Cenegenics Houston will be another such focal point, helping patients worldwide take control of their aging process.
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) May 09, 2011
Cenegenics Houston—a groundbreaking age management medicine center—opened to a city primed for healthy aging solutions and 21st century medical strategies, announced Cenegenics® Medical Institute, the global leader in the field. Cenegenics partnered with one of its physicians, Dr. Garth Denyer, to launch the center. Denyer has been a Cenegenics physician practicing the age-management medical specialty in the Houston area for the past three years. Cenegenics Houston marks the 16th center the age-management giant launched to date, with others scheduled to launch in 2011.
As the fourth-largest city in the U.S. and largest city in Texas, Houston has been labeled a beta world city and home to a diverse international community, extensive industrial arenas, numerous high-end corporate headquarters, NASA and booming healthcare sectors. Houston’s active culture and growing economy make it ideal for the Cenegenics proactive medical approach for optimized health and living well longer.
“Houston is already on the map as a destination for medical treatment, with people traveling from South America and elsewhere to our city. Cenegenics Houston will become another of their focal points, helping patients from around the world take control of their health and aging process to prevent or delay age-related disease. I’m grateful for this Cenegenics partnering opportunity and for the long-term support and encouragement Cenegenics President/CEO John Adams has given as we forged together to open this center,” Denyer said.
Denyer first went to Cenegenics’ headquarters in Las Vegas when he had personal health issues. Cenegenics’ shift from the conventional disease-focused/diagnose-and-treat philosophy to a proactive one intrigued Denyer, leading him to not only a healthier way of living, but also physician training/certification in the age-management via the nonprofit Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation.
“I had heard of a preventive medical approach before, but not with such a complete understanding as what Cenegenics presented. My Executive Health Evaluation [comprehensive diagnostic] helped me get focused on my own health, alerting me to pay attention to areas I was ignoring before. Now I’m on the right path. At 64, I’m 200 pounds with 12% body fat—and I stay active with regular workouts, windsurfing and racquetball,” Denyer said.
Cenegenics Houston is located in an exclusive urban area called The Woodlands, just 30 miles north of Houston and a 15-minute drive from the airport. The dynamic community reflects the Cenegenics age-management energetic lifestyle. With its glass-front buildings, The Woodlands offers 9 million square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment venues blended with 6.7 million square feet of office space. Its waterway touts a 1.4-mile scenic corridor.
