Wall Street Economists published the results of a research project on the financial crisis of 2008. The research attempted answer several questions related to the financial meltdown and the experts whose opinions mattered the most during the crisis.

According to Wall Street Economists, the researchers spent hundreds of hours analyzing the most important news stories, articles, interviews, blog posts and statements about the the financial crisis and its impact on Wall Street.
