It often seems as if popular culture is actively trying to destroy quality family time. Handheld games are everywhere. Cartoons tempt children in front of the television. These distractions make it difficult for parents to interest their children in spending time outside with each other. Fuzzy Wishey Dandelion (published by AuthorHouse) offers a solution.

Author Rachel Narr, together with illustrator E. Jackie Brown, takes inspiration from her family to craft a delightful children’s book about family and happiness.

Just then, Preston noticed, right in front of him, the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, and it was right there waiting just for him. Preston ran as fast as he could. When he got there, he could not believe his eyes. It was the biggest Fuzzy Wishey Dandelion Preston had ever seen.

Preston’s first thought was to run into the house and tell Daddy and Mommy about the Fuzzy Wishey Dandelion, but then he remembered Mommy telling him that he had to make a wish and could not tell anyone what he had wished.

When Preston picks the dandelion, makes his wish, and sees it come true he takes the rest of his family on a fun-filled afternoon of getting their own wishes granted. His brother Trenton, his mother and his father all discover the power of wishey dandelions. Fuzzy Wishey Dandelion shows children the value of spending fun time with their family.
