We believe that an educated user is a loyal user, but creating help and training content can be time-consuming and costly for sites...
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 05, 2011
Educating users is one of the most important challenges sites face: users that don't know how to use key features are less likely to convert and gain lifetime value. That’s why inDinero and ReTargeter are taking user education to the next level by launching video training lessons powered by Grovo.com, an Internet education and training site. Using the customizable Grovo Widget, inDinero, Web-based software that helps small businesses better track and manage their finances, and ReTargeter, the premier re-targeting platform for online advertising, will be able to embed Grovo’s professionally produced video lessons on their own sites, to help train, educate and retain users.
"We have been getting plenty of traffic over the past few months and supporting the influx of new users is a concern,” said Andrea Barrica, Vice President of Operations for inDinero. “The Grovo Widget lets us scale more efficiently with our growth and helps our small businesses get financially healthy even quicker. At a time when many small businesses still struggle, it was important to make sure they could understand data that addresses cash flow, runway, spending, profits as easily as possible. And Grovo was the answer."
The Grovo Widget is currently live on ReTargeter, is launching on InDinero shortly, and is going live with several other sites expected to launch the widget this month. inDinero, already with a robust FAQ and customer happiness team, is using the Grovo Widget on its help page to showcase the site’s intuitive financial dashboard and automated data entry. Retargeter is using the Widget before the site’s pay wall to help users better understand the experience that awaits them. The Widget presently constitutes Retargeter’s entire "help" section; the site also plans to feature the Widget behind its paywall shortly.
The Grovo widget can be customized for any business, site or blog in three quick steps. All sites need to do is select any of the nearly 500 Grovo video lessons they want to use, customize the Widget’s size and color to fit their needs, and copy a snippet of code onto their site. Sites can embed up to ten Basic Grovo lessons for free. Premium and specialized content can be requested from Grovo, as well.
“We believe that an educated user is a loyal user, but creating help and training content can be time-consuming and costly for sites,” said Grovo CEO Jeff Fernandez. “The Grovo Widget allows companies to take advantage of professionally produced, educational content for free. It reduces customer support inquiries, increases the lifetime value of users and saves the company time and money.”
"Using the Grovo Widget will help some of the biggest brands we work with launch retargeting campaigns faster and easier, helping us scale our business even quicker by eliminating repeat customer service queries,” said Arjun Dev Arora, CEO of ReTargeter. “We recently launched a new consumer facing dashboard and website and the Grovo Widget ensures that our current and prospective users can easily leverage our platform to achieve the best campaign results possible. The Grovo Widget is not only helping us scale our business, but increasing returns for our users as well.”
Earlier this year, Grovo announced the launch of Grovo Premium, exclusive content for businesses looking to take advantage of online business tools such as social media, online marketing analytics and online productivity suites. The announcement of Grovo Premium was accompanied by a full site re-design and revamped experience for free users, with much of Grovo’s content being opened to the public.
