Singapore Envee Media Announces Enveesoft Chengdu, New Mobile Development Studio in China

Singapore-based Envee Media, a niche developer of games and applications for smart mobile and In-flight Entertainment, announces the establishment of new subsidiary development studio, Enveesoft Chengdu in Sichuan, China.

Singapore-based Envee Media, an independent developer of games and applications for smart mobile and In-flight Entertainment, today announces the establishment of Enveesoft Chengdu, a new subsidiary development studio located in Chengdu, China.

Enveesoft Chengdu will focus on Research and Development of games and applications on next generation Smart Mobile platforms such as Android, iPad, iPhone, Meego, as well as In-flight Entertainment platforms. It is the first of such company in the world to focus on both consumer Smart Mobile and In-flight Entertainment platforms.

The new studio is located at the prestigious Tianfu Software Park, which is already housing leading companies such as IBM, Ubisoft and Tencent. Enveesoft is starting with 20 staff and plans to increase its staff strength to 50 by end of the year.

The Chengdu High Tech Zone and Tianfu Software Park went out of their way to facilitate the setting up of Enveesoft Chengdu.”

With the new entity in China, Enveesoft is in a strong position to serve the fast growing Android, iPad, iPhone, Meego games and applications market in China and rest of world. Working in tandem with EnveeMedia HQ in Singapore, Enveesoft can develop and aggregate the best global mobile content for the China market, while at the same time pushes the best Chinese content to the international markets.

Enveesoft Chengdu is led by an experienced management team, comprising Chief Executive Officer, Mr Wu Xin who had more than 10 years experience in the China gaming industry. Among the management team is Chief Operating Officer Mr Zhou Rui, who brings with him a wealth of telco and Internet technology experience.
