Where Legends Are Born. Epstein's Bar, Lower East Side, NYC

Charles “Chuck” Reed, the legendary guest bartender from the Lower East Side will take to the tap at Epstein’s Bar on the island of Manhattan this following Thursday, May 12, from 6 to 9pm.

The Happy Hour event is expected to draw wild crowds of local and traveling enthusiasts into the bar and seating area outside to see Chuck pop bottles of brew and mix up a mean one. “Guest bartending is a different way to give back,” says Chuck, who gained notoriety in recent years due to his passion for guest bartending and unique drink mixing skill set. “I will offer ½ off draft beers and well drinks,” insists Chuck.

Epstein’s, or “Eppy’s” as Charles or “Chuck” would endearingly call the bar, is located on the corner of Allen & Stanton, just below Houston, and is alternatively known as: The Best Bar in the LES. “I look at this as a challenge. The crowds will come, and while others may worry that they may not be able to keep up, I say no. It’s the crowd that may not be able to keep up with me, and it is they who have to worry,” adds Chuck.

Aside from this, there is expected to be V.I.P. appearances from both regular and local fixtures at Epstein’s. Members of the press and general public are invited to attend. Those that are unable, however, may follow Chuck’s Happy Hour service on Twitter for the latest tweetable updates on drinks mixed and current bar atmosphere: @ChuckatEppys. “Looking forward to seeing you there, and bring it on!” chimes Chuck as the sun begins to set on the horizon overlooking the Lower East Side of the island of Manhattan, bringing the world one day closer to an evening when legends are born.
