Type 1 diabetes social network for JDRF launches with new features.

BlippMedia is making major changes to its already established online health community. Since its launch, Blipp has made many enhancements to Juvenation; however, this is by far the largest to date. Blipp is introducing a complete new set of features that will help users follow content updates, user communication, changing statuses, and adding the ability to reply to the statuses of other users. We have also developed technology that will help create subset groups, a user points system, and an overall optimized mobile experience for the entire site.

Juvenation is already a vibrant social network created for and by people with type 1 diabetes and the loved ones that care for them. It was launched by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) on World Diabetes Day, November 14, 2008.

With these new features BlippMedia is forecasting an increase in activity across each social category on Currently the site averages 500 new members a month. These members have created over 4 million discussions to date, which drives over 60,000 different keyword searches (from google) to Juvenation. These are people looking for answers, support, and someone to talk to about diabetes.
