“Just get out there and lend a hand because there is so much work to do and you will never regret helping,” said Catherine Mills-Coore of Bluegreen

Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, today announced its continued participation in Florida’s Volunteer Month by feeding the hungry and homeless through the “Let’s Do Lunch” program. Bluegreen’s participation in April Volunteer Month is being led by the company’s Resort Title Agency, with volunteerism events planned during the month of April and beyond. The first event helped feed 200 people in need at The Cooperative Feeding Program of Broward County.

Bluegreen associates donated lunch items and prepared and delivered 200 bagged lunches to The Cooperative Feeding Program of Broward County in order to feed the area’s hunger-stricken population. The 200 meals were delivered and distributed to the Cooperative Feeding Program of Broward County by associates of Bluegreen Corporation personally.

Catherine Mills-Coore, Manager of Title Services for the Resort Title Agency at Bluegreen Corporation states, “Many of the patrons who come to the Cooperative Feeding Program are homeless and depend on the volunteers and services offered there.” She continues, “The Cooperative Feeding Program recently added ‘A LifeNet for Families’ as part of their name and it is so fitting because in this day and age, so many people are struggling.”

The Cooperative Feeding Program has been feeding the hungry and homeless of Broward County for over 25 years. They provide 1.2 million meals every year through generous donations from leaders in the community and the hard work and effort of those willing to help.

Mills-Coore adds, “Just get out there and lend a hand because there is so much work to do and you will never regret helping.”
