Big Bang Actress Alice Amter Stars in Vagina Monologues

Alice Amter is known by many for her wonderful portrayal of Mrs. Koothrapali in the award winning show ‘The Big Bang Theory’. Alice is often described as a 'chameleon' for the different roles and ethnicities she aptly plays. Originally from England, she has a wonderful ear for accents and has convincingly played many characters from across the globe. In ‘The Big Bang Theory’ Alice plays an Indian mother; in ‘Outsourced’ she took on the role of an Indian psychic, in 'Strong Medicine' a conservative Middle-Eastern mom, in ‘A Man Apart' she portrayed a gun wielding Spanish beauty, in 'The Good Girl' a Southern speaking hick as well as appearing in many other productions using her natural British accent. Alice has appeared in numerous prime time TV shows opposite some of Hollywood’s biggest names. Her first job in television was opposite George Clooney in his final two episodes of the mega-hit medical drama ‘E.R’. This was followed by a series of appearances in an array of popular TV shows such as ‘Judging Amy’ opposite Amy Brenneman, ‘Strong Medicine’ with Janine Turner, ‘Til Death’ with Brad Garrett, ‘Skip Tracer’ with Stephen Dorff and a recurring role on ‘Presidio Med’ opposite Blythe Danner and Christina Hendricks from ‘Mad Men’. Simultaneously she garnered attention on the big screen with appearances in several films with some of Hollywood’s leading A-list talent, most notably Jennifer Anniston in ‘The Good Girl’, and Vin Diesel in ‘A Man Apart’.

As a fan favorite in The Big Bang Theory Alice as Mrs. Koothrapali is often found to be disapproving of her son Rajesh's (played by Kunal Nayyar) Western ways, so what would Mrs Koothrappali say about the Vagina Monologues?
