Mooresville, NC (PRWEB) May 09, 2011
North Carolina Company, Race City Investments LLC (RCI), is on a mission to provide the Lake Norman community with a state-of-the-art indoor athletic experience that is second to none. RCI, represented by several Mooresville residents, stepped in to operate a budding soccer facility, located in a building that the company owns in the Talbert Point Business Park, after it was vacated by previous tenants.
Launched in March 2011, Mooresville Indoor Soccer Complex (Mooresville ISC) is located at 128 Speedway Lane. The facility had already been equipped with an indoor turf field and RCI Company investors immediately saw an opportunity to benefit the thriving athletics industry in Mooresville. “Youth athletics is booming as an industry and lifestyle. The population of Mooresville youth enrolled in organized sports has grown tremendously, and this has lead to an increased demand for facilities to house these activities,” states RCI representative, Analisa Malec.
Mooresville Commissioner and Mayor Pro Tem, Chris Carney, sees a lot of synergy between Mooresville ISC and the Town’s plans to make Mooresville the premier destination for organized youth athletics. “More than 30 million kids play a wide range of recreational and competitive sports today. Parents want to encourage safe sports for their children, and facilities like the Mooresville Indoor Soccer Complex meet those needs. With the addition of America’s Park and the investment that the Town of Mooresville has made in the 210 Talbert Point building that will bring baseball, indoor basketball, wrestling and volleyball to the area, this indoor soccer complex compliments the Town’s endeavors.”
Mooresville ISC is offering soccer programs for all ages including micro-soccer for children ages 3 – 5, youth soccer for boys and girls, and adult programs for men and women. Programs are designed with age and ability in mind and are often staffed with coaches or referees associated with local area soccer programs. “We are cooperating with the Lake Norman Soccer Club to provide both recreational and competitive programs for Youth Soccer players,” says Mooresville ISC General Manager, Marie Quinn. “Our goal is to provide a clean, climate controlled environment, which helps children to develop as players and as people.” Programs are coordinated to run as complements to outdoor seasons and include a mix of formats, from instructional 3v3 through fun, non-structured open play.
With a website powered by Oasys Sports, Mooresville ISC will provide reliable scheduling and easy access to check field availability. Mooresville ISC is committed to providing quality customer service with the goal of creating the ultimate family-oriented indoor sports experience. “Individuals, clubs and all supporters of the game of soccer and other turf athletics – recreational or competitive - can come to the facility and enjoy time with friends and family rain or shine,” says Quinn.
Once the business is operating smoothly, RCI plans to market it for sale with the goal of placing a renewed, healthy business with an owner who possesses the skills and resources to operate the facility longer term. Mooresville ISC also has several affiliate programs that currently reside in the building – The Davidson Learning Center, Lake Norman Soccer Club, and Line-Up Football – with a personal training affiliate coming in the near future.
