Eva Longoria, Desperate Housewives star, and JR & Loren Ridinger Teamed Up for Second Annual Event

Eva Longoria, Desperate Housewives star and JR & Loren Ridinger, President/CEO and Senior Vice President of Market America, Inc. ( & SHOP.COM (, Internet Marketing and Product Brokerage companies that specialize in One-to-One Marketing, teamed up for the Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup ( in Miami, last weekend. The event capped off the fundraising efforts of many Miami residents to benefit children within the local area who are struggling with the devastating effects of cancer. The event was held April 29-30.

The Rally for Kids with Cancer brought celebrity navigators and drivers together to maneuver through six unique pit stops throughout the Miami area earning points in their quest to raise funds to help the Jackson Memorial Foundation, IKF Wonderfund, Holtz Children’s Hospital, Eva Longoria Fund, among others, providing hope that one day the end to cancer can be celebrated.

Team Market America raised the most money for the event, with over one hundred and twenty five thousand dollars ($125,000) in donations collected from Market America employees, Customer Managers and friends. While total donations from the Rally are still being counted, preliminary reports indicate several hundred thousand dollars were raised. Additionally, the Market America team, led by Amber Ridinger & Duane McLaughlin, were the winners of the second annual scavenger hunt.

“Rally for Kids was an amazing experience!" said Loren Ridinger. “I am honored and grateful to be part of the Rally for Kids with Cancer; it's a very special foundation that allows us to make a difference and raise awareness for pediatric cancer research,” said Ridinger.
