Zing! Pow! That's the effect everyone wants from their marketing.
In Rev Up Your Nonprofit, Small Business Revenue with E-marketing, a free webinar from Ventureneer, participants will learn how to mix online media to maximize market reach.
Entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and small business owners will learn to define and find their particular markets with the most cost effective e-media for them. It's about getting the message to the target market, wherever that market hangs out.
"Online media can target the exact audience you want to reach. When you do it right, it's highly effective and outcomes can be measured easily," said Geri Stengel, founder of Ventureneer.
Prospects, customers, investors and influencers are target audiences that organizations want to reach. But the message to each is different. Ventureneer's webinar will show participants how to reach the audience that counts for a campaign with a mix of traditional and online media, including social media.
The webinar will take place Thursday, May 19 12n-1pm ET and will be taught by Geri Stengel, founder of Ventureneer and an oft-cited expert on social media.
A "graduate" of the corporate world, Stengel is also a mentor and teacher, who is up to date on the latest and best marketing practices, including social media. Stengel knows teaching and she knows business. She’ll help bring marketing, development and fundraising into the 21st century without mind-numbing jargon or "computerese."
This free online seminar will cover the basics, such as:
Know the target audience. Which media do they use and why?
*Have a clear goal. Do you want to build awareness, credibility, traffic to your website or attract donors, recruiting clients, all of the above, or something else?
*Which social media is the best at doing what needs to accomplish?
*Measure the effectiveness of each medium, so the marketing plan can be adjusted to laser-focus on the right audience.
That's just for starters. With the message and market defined, there's still a lot to know:
*Why email? Why not? How to focus?
*Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook: Oh, my! Do I use them all? None? Some? Why?
*What are social networks good for? What makes them fail?
*How so blogs and comments get a brand out.
In this class, participants will learn to tailor online marketing to the specific needs of their business or nonprofit. They'll learn how to figure out which media will work best for their purposes, whether that purpose is attracting new customers or advocating for a cause.
This is personal, real-life, and practical.
Small business owners, start-up entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and development directors will find the information in this webinar useful in developing effective, low-cost marketing plans.
