Mimeo.com, the leading printing and distribution company, announced that Chuck Gehman, VP, Product Platforms, has been selected to speak at the 2011 Printing Industries of America Offset and Beyond Conference. The conference, scheduled for May 23-25 in Orlando, is one of the largest gatherings of print production environment professionals.

Gehman will be part of a panel discussion on the uses, advantages and limitations of cloud print service providers (CPSP), Web portals, and Web-to-print. His remarks will focus on how technology platforms in particular can streamline print workflows and boost productivity in the workplace.

“The cloud is facilitating a shift from requiring employees to print where they work, to one where they can print and manage documents from anywhere,” said Chuck Gehman, VP Print Platforms, Mimeo.com. “At Mimeo.com, we’ve been a beneficiary of the demand for efficient, flexible platforms that eliminate barriers between the customer and the latest digital print technologies and capabilities.”

“Chuck has firsthand experience developing the platforms that are transforming our business,” said Julie Shaffer, VP Digital Technologies, Printing Industries of America. “In his role at Mimeo.com, he is in a unique position to describe how technology can be used to succeed in what continues to be a challenging business environment.”
