Alameda, CA (PRWEB) May 10, 2011
Inman News today announced the launch of a new series of invitation-only executive conferences that will be known as Inman Summit Events. The first conference, the Inman Data Summit, is scheduled for July 25-26 in San Francisco, and will focus on the state of data in the real estate industry today.
“We believe that these conferences serve a vital need in the industry to present hard-hitting information for decision-makers that is actually created and vetted by executives and thought leaders,” says Tim Smith, Inman’s CEO. “The goal of our Summits is two-fold: First, we will provide pertinent, newsworthy and objective information to the people who need it to direct the future of the industry. Second, and perhaps just as important, we will provide an intimate, invitation-only environment for CEOs, thought leaders and senior executives to network and share ideas in a collaborative and productive environment that is free of the sales pitches endemic to so many conferences today.”
Inman Summits will always be created in collaboration with a board of advisors comprised of experts in the industry. All of the conference content is vetted by the board, and produced and managed by the editorial staff of Inman News, the industry’s premier source for business intelligence in real estate. Each two-day summit features 1.5 days of general sessions, plus four hours of in-depth working sessions designed to facilitate discussion between attendees.
About the Inman Data Summit
“The Inman Data Summit will debate topics that are top of mind for executives today,” says Madelyn Mok, Inman’s vice president of content. “From listing syndication to data privacy and ownership, we will discuss, debate and attempt to develop working plans to bring the industry together.”
The Inman Data Summit will be emceed by Rob Hahn and Gahlord Dewald. The content has been developed and vetted by a nine-member board of advisors comprised of executives from data providers, MLS associations and real estate brokerages.
Gahlord Dewald is a data-driven Web strategist focusing on platform-agnostic tools and techniques that allow his clients to optimize their conversion funnels through ongoing activities across the stages of the consumer life-cycle model.
Rob Hahn is the founder and Managing Partner of 7DS Associates - a marketing, strategy, and technology consulting firm specializing in creative solutions rooted in strategic analysis and data. With a varied background from Wall Street, corporate law, technology, product development, media and entertainment, startups, fashion and professional card player, Rob brings a unique perspective to business problems.
The fee to attend the Summit is $899, and includes breakfast and lunch both conference days, full conference access including conversations with speakers, special activities and networking events, plus a few surprises. Invitees may also bring along one senior associate to attend the general session and working sessions for an additional fee of $699. This fee includes breakfast and lunch both conference days, full conference access including conversations with speakers, and entry into the working sessions.
