No More Surprises
Knoxville, TN (PRWEB) May 16, 2011
The team at How’s The Living, Inc. who runs the site http://www.howstheliving.com, releases a new site that allows U.S. college students to rank features of their residence halls at more than 1,000 colleges and universities.
Featuring profiles of nearly 20,000 residence halls, HowsTheLiving serves as a partner with students and universities. Through the website, students currently living on campus have the opportunity to post reviews of their residence halls, while potential students can use these reviews in making decisions for future housing arrangements. Furthermore, colleges and universities are able to collect valuable student feedback on their housing services. “We have developed our website keeping students in mind, in order to deliver the ultimate experience," says HowsTheLiving co-founder Kaliv Parker.
HowsTheLiving is a student life centric online resource and social network company that serves over 19 million students who study at U.S. post secondary institutions. The website aims to smooth the transition from living in the comforts of home to living on a college campus by helping students find living arrangements that meet their specific needs.
In December 2010, the team at HowsTheLiving won season 2 of Movers and Changers, a national business pitch competition and a nationwide challenge to uncover the country’s next young entrepreneurs sponsored by mtvU and the New York Stock Exchange.
HowsTheLiving would like to make life easier for fellow college students by building a housing review platform so that students won’t be surprised when they move into university housing.
Students interested in learning more about ranking their residence halls or viewing feedback from other residents can visit the website or contact the team at info(at)howstheliving(dot)com.
