Exprodat’s Team-GIS KBridge was released today for the ArcGIS 10 platform, continuing to meet the demand for low cost data integration between KINGDOM and ArcGIS. Geoscientists using KBridge can take control of transfers between SMT’s KINGDOM and ArcMap rather than rely on expensive service-oriented integration solutions. For further information see http://www.exprodat.com/software/TGK.
Team-GIS KBridge allows geologists and geophysicists to transfer KINGDOM project data to ArcMap, and vice versa. This enables them to integrate their sub-surface interpretation with a wide array of available spatial data and to apply ArcGIS Desktop’s powerful spatial analytical capabilities.
Exprodat’s Technical Director, Chris Jepps, says, “It’s amazing that moving data between E&P sub-surface interpretation tools and ArcGIS can still be a challenging, complex and time consuming task. If you’re struggling to move data between KINGDOM and ArcView and can’t afford the more expensive solutions on the market then you should take a look at KBridge – it’s great value at a fraction of the cost.”
Exprodat’s Team-GIS product suite is made up of a number of extensions to Esri’s ArcGIS Desktop that provide ‘out-of-the-box’ functionality designed specifically for the needs of the petroleum sector. Team-GIS software is data independent and allows oil and gas companies to integrate vendor data with in-house datasets for use in GIS-based spatial analysis in order to make better decisions, manage risk and reduce technical uncertainty.
