Medication Compliance made easier for people affected with HIV/AIDS

Med Home Alert,, provider of automated medication dispensing systems and medical alarms, has decided to reach out to those living with HIV/AIDS in providing education and awareness of medication compliance through the use of its medication dispensing system supported by its 24-hour operator network.

" People being treated for HIV/AIDS need to know that a medication dispensing system with a live operator can help keep them compliant in taking their medications as prescribed," says John Robinson Midwest Marketing Director for Med Home Alert. Incomplete adherence to HIV therapy is the most common cause of incomplete viral suppression, drug resistance, disease progression and death among people living with HIV/AIDS.

The medication awareness campaign will promote medication compliance and proper use of the Med Home Alert Automated medication dispensing system, by promoting communication with individuals living with HIV/AIDS and healthcare professionals, about education on medication side affects, its uses and benefits from taking the medications as prescribed by their treating doctor. The awarness campaign will also explore medication cost savings options thru drug manufacturers and drug assistance programs in addition to making available medication lists for people living with HIV/AIDS.
