I just wanted to thank you for the quick response I received today when calling for service on my garage door. I would especially like to commend your service technician, who helped me with both garage doors and openers. The technician was very informative. He did not "sell" me, but provided guidance on how I could best keep my doors in safe, operational order for the long term. The job was quick and went very smoothly. Thanks again for your prompt and courteous service. In the future, I will be sure to recommend your company to any of my friends and neighbors seeking a good garage door repair specialist.
I would like to compliment your technician for the professional service that he provided during the installation of our new Lift Master Professional Garage Door Opener. I don’t recall enjoying a service technician, of any kind, more than I enjoyed this technician. He was knowledgeable, enjoyable, friendly, efficient, and professional. He took great pride in performing his work. Unfortunately, that is the rare exception in today’s world, and I appreciate him for that. He is a great ambassador for your company. The flip side of that is that now I am spoiled—if I ever need garage door service, I will need him to do the work.I don’t like spending money. But at least by having this technician talk me into getting the top-of-the-line model, and after seeing him do the work, at least I feel good about it.
What can go wrong with a Garage Door?
Extension Springs are on the sides of the door and are vertical. When these springs break they often shoot through roofs, walls, windows, cars, etc. Some homeowners have found these springs in living rooms, kitchens after going through a wall of the house. Extension springs are usually found on older garage doors and on garages with low ceilings. Torsion springs are found on more modern sectional doors. These springs are horizontal along the top of the garage door. These springs are less likely to fly around upon breaking but they have hundreds of pounds of load on them, so they are dangerous.
Most garage doors come with plastic flanges that wear out in the first few years. Replacing these with sealed ball bearing units that will make the garage door run smoothly for many years. Most rollers lack ball bearings and are solid. We install 13 bearing nylon rollers that are both quiet and durable, exerting the least possible friction on the garage door system. Hinges hold the door panel sections together. Most of the hinges we see will stand up to a quick wind test in a laboratory but they fall apart under the load of daily use. We replace these hinges every day and most of the hinges we see will never survive any kind of hurricane. The hinges that are technician will install are noticeably heavier and sturdier than the builder grade hinges that came with most garage doors.
Local Garage Door Repair services all types of garage doors, from residential to commercial overhead doors. Replacement of doors, springs, rollers and cables are stocked in our local warehouse.
