Azima DLI, the leader and premier provider of Predictive Maintenance (PdM) products and analytical services, today announced details of its participation at MFPT: The Applied Systems Health Management Conference 2011, taking place at Virginia Beach, Virginia from May 10-12, 2011. Azima DLI’s presentation, “Achieving Exceptional Benefits to Costs Through Condition Based Maintenance,” provides an in-depth analysis of two case studies, the US Navy and a prominent industrial gas company, and outlines condition monitoring best practices for attendees.
Loren Cleven, program manager, Azima DLI
Tim Kelley, program manager, Azima DLI
In their presentation, “Achieving Exceptional Benefits to Costs Through Condition Based Maintenance,” Cleven and Kelly describe two condition based maintenance (CBM) programs. The first project is a long-standing aircraft carrier fleet Machinery Condition Analysis (MCA) program that uses vibration analysis to provide timely and accurate information on condition and operational readiness of rotating machinery. This program consistently demonstrates the potential savings of condition based monitoring over time. The second is a commercial program for a large industrial gas company. The contract was one of the largest in the condition monitoring industry and indicates a growing trend for leading companies to instill consistency, benchmarked practices, demonstrated return on investment and a top-down emphasis on reliability as it pertains to predictive capabilities.
The MFPT Conference takes place May 10-12, 2011. Azima DLI’s presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11 at 4:00 p.m. EST in the Cape May room.
The event is being held at the Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach. For more information or to register for the event, visit http://www.mfpt.org.
