Women on Fire Founder to ignite inspiration in area women to live the life of their dreams.

What place does a Tea and a Tory, have in the Commonwealth? If one Massachusetts resident has her way, two key events this week will spark revolutionary ideas and relationships for local women and entrepreneurs.

Women on Fire Founder Debbie Phillips will host a Women on Fire Tea at Taj Boston Thursday, May 12 from 4-7pm. She will also present at Tory Johnson’s Spark and Hustle Tour the next day, May 13.

Phillips has been filling teas at Taj Boston for the last five years in order to create communities of extraordinary women who support each other's growth, dreams and success.

“There is magic attending a Women on Fire Tea,” stated Phillips. “It is certainly three hours of meeting new and ongoing friends, but it’s more than just fun and inspiration (although there is much of both!) the event is really about giving women a place to express what they are on fire about in their life.”

Phillips’s goal was to create a space where women could come together to be heard and celebrated. The tea setting proved to be contagious and now Women on Fire Teas take place everywhere from Michigan to Florida, New Mexico and Los Angeles.

“I have seen women completely transform once they connect with their heart and their dream,” said Phillips. “We have had women attend a tea who are completely burnt out - no fire at all. As they sit in the energy of other women they begin to feel a little spark and then these same women come back a year later and are so on fire they are unstoppable. All because an initial spark was lit.”

As a pioneer in the Life & Executive Coaching field, Phillips knows much about helping women achieve their dreams. She started Women on Fire in 2003 after working with hundreds of clients to successfully achieve rewarding and fulfilling lives and careers.

On Friday, Phillips will share her expertise helping entrepreneurs by addressing: “Good Grief! The Four Stages of Entrepreneurship ~ For Women.” during the Boston stop of the Spark & Hustle tour.

ABC Workplace Correspondent, Tory Johnson, leads the three-day Spark & Hustle conference that takes place at the Hilton Boston/Woburn from Thursday to Saturday.

“I am excited to help spark the fire within Boston women,” said Phillips. “In my 15 years as an Executive and Life Coach, I’ve seen how the key ingredients of success – inspiration, strategies and support – can make a transformative difference in a woman’s life. I am honored to be part of Tory’s national tour because it so beautifully brings all three of these components together in one weekend.”
