Nassau, Bahamas (PRWEB) May 13, 2011
Damien Forsythe, E-Commerce Consultant, has received his Individual Google Adwords Certification after successfully completing the training and Individual exams provided by Google.
This is a timely certification as the competition for the share of online advertising has only increased. The two major forms of online advertising, search marketing & display advertising, have been in use for many years but their use and share of total advertising budgets continue to increase. According to the Interactive Advertising Bureau, 2010 was a record year for online advertising in the United States, with an increase of 15% to $26 Billion, to set a new annual record.
Paid Search Advertising is an important part of an overall online marketing strategy, both for long term sustainability, brand awareness, new customer acquisition and as a way to test promotional message, before investing in and scaling out much larger campaigns.
Damien credits much of his formal Google Adwords training and knowledge to Brad Geddes; both by studying his book “Advanced Google Adwords” and attending his Google Adwords “Seminar for Success” in Silicon Valley, through his training company http://www.CertifiedKnowledge.com.
After receiving his Google Adwords Certification, Damien said that “I’m thrilled to receive this stamp of approval from Google. Online advertising is a multi-billion dollar industry, but it is amazing that is still continues to grow and how many opportunities still exist. After initial reviews of the accounts of large Google Adwords advertisers, it is obvious that most companies would greatly benefit from professional help in saving money on their paid search and in increasing the number of qualified prospects through their paid search channel.”
