Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) May 13, 2011
Plā outdoor wall products are designed directly from specifier feedback. The cylindrical family offers luminous, partially luminous, and full performance wall products. The high performance optics are available in a variety of light distribution patterns that can be changed in the field. The series provides beautiful illumination by night and is architecturally pleasing by day. Plā will be shown at Lightfair featuring low energy, long life LED sources. As a sequel, Metal Halide will be released early 2012.
The Mystique Collection, released Fall 2010, adds six new products. Mystique is designed to take advantage of the unique properties of LED. The collection includes both low wattage and high performance options. The entire Mystique Collection will be on display including two ‘Next Generation 2010 Recognized’ products - Escape and Sleight.
With an aesthetic that integrates into today’s more hospitality oriented patient rooms, the Unity series meets the functional challenges of the healthcare environment such as light level, germ control, and clean-ability. Unity features ambient, exam, and reading light functions. In addition to standard fluorescent sources, three LED options are available: an amber night light, color changing LED to provide a visual distraction for patients and enhanced blue for resetting the circadian rhythm system.
Visa Lighting introduces expansions to the Unity series. A new 2x2 fixture designed for dental and medical out-patient facilities is now available. The gentle curve of illuminated acrylic with a soft fabric design gives a comfortable feel to a healing space. This new offering includes fluorescent ambient lighting as well as LED options available in RGB, enhanced blue, or amber night light. Additionally, a new high-transmission polycarbonate diffuser has been integrated into the reading lamp in the 9” by 48” unit.
In addition to Plā, as well as the expansions of the Mystique Collection and Unity series, Visa will be seeking specifier and guest participation in the product development process for an Outdoor Line at LightFair International 2011. These products will be featured at the Visa Lighting booth, #3701.
