G&A Partners Hosts 'Grant Writing Lunch and Learn' Event with Jeff Flores

G&A Partners, a Houston based HR outsourcing and administrative provider, announces the ‘G&A Partners Grant Writing Lunch and Learn’ event, taking place on Thursday, May 19 from 11:30AM to 5PM at the San Antonio Library Foundation.

Come join G&A Partners and Jeff Flores for tips on writing grant proposals. As a nonprofit organization, it is vital to keep expenses to a minimum, while maintaining grant and donor support. Nonprofit organizations rely on funding from both government and private donors in order to maintain operations on a daily basis. Effective grant writing is one of the most important things you can learn for your nonprofit organization, to guarantee a steady stream of income.

Jeff Flores is currently the superintendent of the Henry Ford Academy: Almeda school for Art and Design. HFA:ASAD is focused on engaging high school students and preparing them for the future through strong academics, a college-going culture, intensive art and design preparation and real-world experiences that focus on innovation and creativity. Jeff Flores recently served as the director of School Operations, Planning and Accountability for the National Council of La Raza’s educational component. NCLR is the largest national constituency-based Hispanic organization and the leading voice in Washington D.C. for the Hispanic community.

Mr. Flores has extensive experience in the field of education. He has served as a special education teacher, secondary education teacher, field service agent, campus administrator and most recently a district administrator. Mr. Flores holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Government with an emphasis on Southwestern studies, as well as a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Additionally, he holds a certification in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from University of Texas San Antonio and a Master’s of Science in Management from Indian Wesleyan University.
